Name:Ayako Angelique Nakamura Age: Twenty Gender: Female Orientation: Straight Member Group: Beyond Heart Face Claim: Tomoko Kawase
Hometown: Though Ayako was born in New York her parents divorced shortly after and her father returned to Japan. She went back and forth between the two during her younger years until her father remarried. Then she stayed with her mother.
Likes: Candy, stuffed animals, reading, music, lolita dresses, speaking in a foreign language to watch the reactions on people's faces when they don't understand what she's saying.
Dislikes: Reality television, stupid people, her parents, wearing her glasses, vegetables, bubble-gum pop music. Secrets: She's never had a boyfriend or been kissed. Although she wants to get her music out there, she doesn't like the way the music industry does things. Not wanting to be the one to hold the band back she's kept her reservations to herself. Personality: Ayako has always been a rebellious child. The psychiatrists her parents forced her to go to say that it's a cry for help from lack of attention. She personally thinks that the lamest thing she's ever heard. So what if she's a little abrasive? In her opinion that's an admirable trait. Too many people let others walk all over them now and she's not going to be one of them. Maybe she had a little bit of problem with authority, but that's because they try to stop her from doing what she wants to do. And what's the problem with it if she's not hurting anyone? She's just a girl who enjoys having fun in life and is trying to make the most of it.
For the most part Ayako is stubborn and difficult to get along with. The girl does have a short fuse and tends to get into a lot of arguments (verbal and physical) and she hates having to say she's sorry for anything. She just won't do it unless you're a close friend even if she knows that she's in the wrong.
If you manage to crack through that tough exterior of hers then she's nothing more than a big softy. Ayako is also extremely intelligent often using her wit to escape troublesome situations (though she's not afraid to use her fists either). When she's a friend then she's a friend for life. If she becomes an enemy then watch out! She can be pretty spiteful.
Family Members: Nakamura Kenji, male, 45, surgeon, father Leanne Nakamura Matthews (maiden name), female, 42, surgeon, mother Nakamura Hikari, female, 30, teacher, stepmother Nakamura Hideki, male, 2, baby, half-brother History: Shortly after Ayako was born her parents divorced. Her father returned to Japan while her mother remained in New York. The two split custody with Ayako splitting her up for six months at a time. Because of her constant traveling she became fluent in both English and Japanese.
Both of her parents were doctors who worked long hours. Neither one of them seemed to have much time for Ayako and she became rebellious as a cry for attention. Often she got into fights and talked back to those in authority. More than once she was kicked from the prestigious schools her parents paid a pretty penny for her to attend.
When Ayako was a teenager her father remarried to a younger woman who happened to be one of her teachers. This upset her and, being old enough to make the decision on her own now, she decided to permanently stay with her mother in New York.
Ayako spent most of her time reading and playing the guitar. She never had very many friends because she often had a hard time getting along with others. Her dream was to become a musician like the ones she listened to when she was younger. Never did she consider it a realistic dream though and she decided to attend college as a fall back plan. Though she still had trouble with her teachers in school, her grades were exceptional enough for her to obtain a scholarship at a college in Washington.
College proved to be a better time in her life. The stigma she'd acquired didn't follow her. While she did maintained her attitude she found it easier to fit in. All of her spare time she spent devoted to music until she met her band mates. She considers them her real family and her best friends--she'd do anything for them.
Alias: Luna Experience: ~3-4 years How’d you find us? Advert on Behind Bars site. Sample: From a post-apocolyptic RP I'm in.
Just as Elizabeth was about to open the door to one of the rooms and have a look inside, she heard the gunshots. Immediately she jerked around with wide eyes and her heart began to pound fiercely in her chest. While she thought she’d heard Matty yelling along the gunfire she wasn’t entirely sure what he’d been saying or if it was even him at all. Hadn’t his gun been emptied earlier? While she thought he’d used all his ammo now she was beginning to doubt herself. Elizabeth strained her ears, but she couldn’t hear anything else after that and she had a sick feeling in her stomach as she instantly thought the worst. Was Matty even still alive? What about the others? Were they okay? Or had it been them firing the shots at each other? There was no way for her to know anything.
But if the others really were in danger there wasn’t any way she’d be able to reach them in time to be of any help. She paced back and forth frantically down the hallway trying to come up with a solution. Maybe she should just run for it. Leave the others and book it out of there. The more she thought about it the more enticing it sounded. There wasn’t any way her stupid conscience would let her do that though. She’d just end up hearing his voice in her head again as she had before.
Squeezing her eyes shut tightly to avoid the falling plaster from getting into her eyes, Elizabeth held her gun up in the air and fired random shots until her chamber was empty. The incandescent light bulbs overhead shattered as bits of broken glass rained down on her. She hadn’t been expecting that and hunched over reflectively in surprise.
Her thinking was if she couldn’t get to the others in time then at least she could draw the attention to herself and lure whatever was away from them. Since she was a good distance away Elizabeth felt pretty confident that she’d be able to outrun the biters since they were pretty slow. It didn’t cross her mind it could have been anything else.
The adrenaline pumped through her veins as the shots drew the attention of a handful of undead from the outside. While they couldn’t reach her in the building, it still made her uneasy seeing their shadows against the windows, moaning and groaning as they tried to get inside. Elizabeth started to jog down to the end of the hallway digging through her bag for her extra ammo. When her hand brushed against the box she paused for a moment and fumbled with the bullets, looking up every so often to survey the area. Once her gun was reloaded she fired a couple of more shots to hopefully assure that what was after the others would leave them alone and start heading her way.
