[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background: #030303, border: solid #020000 5px; width: 490px; height: 250px;] She's just a girl and she's on fire, Hotter than a fantasy, longer than a highway Looks like a girl but she's a flame So bright she can burn your eyes, better look the other way this girl is on fire Morgan sighed, looked in the mirror and practiced her smile again. Then, she frowned at her reflection. The smile was still too fake, and her fans would notice. She didn't want them to, though. She wanted them to see her as the happy singer who had too much fun on stage and didn't know what depression felt like. She ran a scarred hand through her hair as she walked over to her closet on the bus to pick out her performance outfit. When she deemed herself presentable, she left the bus and made a beeline for backstage. Thankfully, there weren't that many people back there at the moment so she had her pick of the tables and sat at an empty one. The singer reached into her pocket and pulled out some sheet music. She hummed a few bars, still deciding if she wanted to practice her songs again or not. Sure, she knew the lyrics by heart, but practice never hurt. She lowered her singing volume down during the first 3 words. She didn't need to practice that, she was just going over the lyrics. "You tried you all 13 channels, but they burned me out again 'cause it's over whenever they say I quit sending postcards 'cause no one know what to revere, and the mailman can't come in to explain So I'm out of gasoline, and I hate see, and it's hard to never mind. It's hard to never mind. I bought myself new candles, they only burn old flames. I guess it's all the same anyway." She wasn't even halfway through the song when Morgan stopped, satisfied with her song. It was her favorite out of all the ones that her band, My Zombie Lover, was going to be performing tonight. Remembering how fake her smile looked, the red-and-black haired singer sighed. Her stage persona, Morgana, was happy, not depressed. She needed to have a real smile to give to the crowd so she pulled out a compact mirror and began to practice her smiling again.
