Family Members: Gino Donati, male, fourty-seven, semi-retired radio presenter, father Dina Rosemary Donati, female, fourty-two, air hostess, mother History: Severina took a minimalist approach from her early years to her high school years. As long as she passed, that was good enough for her. So she wasn't a straight A student per se, more a straight C student with a B- being something worthy of celebration. Her social life wasn't too plentiful either. Shortly into her freshman year, a popular girl was trying to intimidate her. When Severina tried to walk away, the girl placed a hand on her shoulder trying to stop her. Severina turned around and bit the girl's hand. The girl screamed, yelled gross, called Severina names and her social life went downhill from there. She had a few friends, the outcast types that cared more about their future than what the popular kids thought, and those friendships stuck with her for a while. Her grades did improve gradually and although most were still average, she did achieve an overall A grade in science. When she graduated high school, her first thought was to become a doctor in America, because of her strong aptitude for science. She had always done slightly better in science than other subjects due to her inquisitive mind and her tendency to dig deeper than her classes generally went through, even though she was still learning English at the time. She knew that a good science grade was vital for medicine so she tried it. Two months into the first semester, she actually had to put on the surgical gloves and conduct a dissection. Severina started to feel squeamish and couldn't complete the dissection, despite made attempts. At that point, Severina knew she had to switch her majors. She thought about the things that interested her as a child and remembered all the talks she had with her mother about being an air hostess. It made Severina think about the sky, the clouds, the general atmosphere and the changes in the weather. She found them much more fascinating than anything on earth, so after she'd done her research she switched her degree to Meteorology. Once she had got accepted to study her PhD, she realized that amongst all the field research and studying she'd be doing, she needed to fund her general living. She started searching for work to no avail. Then, one morning in her apartment, she called a friend over to do her hair. Her hair took a lot of work, so she liked to have friends do it, and this particular friend worked as a stylist. Whilst she was cutting and drying, Severina confessed to her that she was worried about funding her food and travel costs whilst studying for a PhD. She mentioned that she knew of a position on tour with the band Beyond Heart. They were looking for a merch girl. Severina thought it over and realized that traveling with the band would solve her problem of having to travel to do field research. She'd be traveling for free with the band. It seemed like the best decision and so she applied straight away. The next day she was on the phone with the tour manager and she'd got the job! Alias: Shideh Experience: Five/six years How’d you find us? Advert Sample: "I... I had some history homework to catch up on." she replied, knowing that it was only one of the reasons she was there. Others included being sick of being in the house all alone, feeling sick in general due to pregnancy and an awful cramped feeling that she got when she hadn't left the house in a while. Her eyes felt strained, as if they hadn't got much sleep. That wasn't true, since Sev had only got out of bed approximately three hours ago. But she could never get enough sleep these days. another delightful symptom of pregnancy. And now that her baby girl was big and kicking, sleeping was a lot more uncomfortable than it used to be. Her daughter kicked a lot, especially at night. As if she really didn't want her mother to get any sleep. She smiled a little looking at his hair. Dakota didn't change his hai anywhere near the amount of times that Sev did, practically nobody could recognize her when she first started dying her hair, but now everybody knew if they saw a hair colour that wasn't pink then it was Sev. Pink was Harmony's thing. And although there were times when she dyed her hair pink, she only did it at the time because Harmony was away. She still hadn't forgiven Harmony for taking off without a word, and truth be told, she didn't know if her heart could ever trust her friend again. Sev's smile faltered as the seconds moved, neither of them speaking. "It has been a long time since we've spent time together..." Sev agreed, her pale face looking drained. Maybe she did need to relax more. But she was in senior year and she really wanted to graduate. She had a strong feeling that if Kyle didn't pick up a textbook soon, he'd fail and become a drop-out. Sev didn't want that life for herself or their baby. "Did you have something in mind?" she asked Dakota, wondering if he had a plan or whether he had just assumed she'd take it from there. |
