ONLY BABY SCARS
- - - - I NEED YOU LOVE LIKE A BOY NEEDS HIS MOTHER'S SIDE
Angry eyes started furiously at the wall across from the couch the blonde merch girl was currently sitting on. Her fingers were digging into the cushions and her nails threatened to rip through the material. Ever since she'd started taking her medication, Aubrey had been fairly normal, pleasant even. Honestly, Aubrey thought she'd been doing a good job at acting like a normal human being and patching up her relationship with Travis. She'd been a good little girlfriend, having gone to meet his parents, given him a heart necklace that symbolized she was officially his like he'd always wanted, and even took care of him when he was puking all over the bus bathroom. Not only that, but she'd been nothing but happy and sweet with him because for a while, that's genuinely how she felt. Things were really starting to look up for her and she finally felt like all was right in her crazy little world. Now, however, everything was just crumbling down around her. Was it considered cheating to go sleep over in a girl's bunk when she was supposedly almost naked? Aubrey didn't know what normal cheating standards were because she'd never really been in a real relationship before, so this was all new to her. All she knew was that she was furious that Travis was tossing around pet names to some other girl and offered to go stay the night. Any other day she would have ripped his throat out, but now she wasn't too sure what she was supposed to do. Was this sort of thing normal? Him going to cuddle up to some other girl? Maybe it was, which was why she wasn't out looking for blood. That, and she promised not to hurt him anymore, and she was going to stay true to her word.
The blonde was practically on the verge of frustrated, angry tears when Tristan got out of his bunk. He took one look at her and hesitated a moment, but decided it better not to say anything and just left. Where he was going she did not know, but she didn't exactly care either. All she could think about was feeling seriously hurt and betrayed. Taking that flight back home probably would have been a good idea, even if Travis had thought otherwise. It was clear he had feelings for this other girl, but she didn't want to be caught in the middle of some game where she was the pawn, moving at his will. She wasn't used to this, actually caring for someone. The effects it was having on her was slowly tearing her apart. Call her dramatic, but if you loved someone and had them crawling up in bed with someone else, you'd probably feel the same.
It had been at least twenty minutes since she'd sent a text message to Pix. What she really wanted right now was to get out of this bus before she finally freaked out and exploded all over the room. Getting extra drunk at a bar sounded like a good solution to her problem, but she needed her partner in crime to tag along with her. By the end of the night, hopefully they'd end up in jail. She'd rather sleep there than on a bus with Tristan or Travis. Then again, one of the two would probably end up having to bail them out, and she didn't want to have to deal with them asking what the hell their problem was. The idea of buying another ticket to New York and leaving before the sun rose was tempting, but she'd probably need a few drinks before carrying through with the notion.
