He doesn’t really think anything about his life was particularly interesting but he’d tell you if you asked. Living in Brooklyn wasn’t that fun. The apartment was crowded, especially when his little sister was born and he had to share a room with her for a few years and until the family could afford to move into a more spacious apartment in Manhattan. Jeremy was bored in Brooklyn and as a result, he often got himself into all kinds of trouble. Not to say he was a bad child, he was just too smart. School was too easy so he blew off classes and homework. He was in the principal’s office more than anyone should and his reputation became tarnished, becoming labeled as a “bully†or (his favorite) a “misunderstood child.†His teachers were convinced that something more was going on at home but there really wasn’t. As far as he knew, his parents were normal and so was their relationship. But then again, he was never really home all that much to know the difference. Jeremy preferred to spend his time wandering around, looking for things to do. He loved Manhattan on the other hand. As a teenager he explored the entire island, never fearing getting lost or mugged. One day, he wandered into a music store and purchased his first guitar on a whim. Jeremy figured it would keep him out of trouble (for now) and he decided he would teach himself. For a while it worked, he stayed out of fights and stuff like that. With the guitar now mastered, he began writing his own songs and searching for a band to belong to. His parents disapproved, fearing that their only son would fall victim to partying, drugs, and sex. Little did they know, by this time, Jeremy was eighteen and was already doing all three. After high school, Jeremy decided to leave the city and tour with his current band. They were a little successful, playing small clubs all over the east coast and some of the Midwest. He enjoyed the travel and girls from other zip codes. While in Chicago and hundreds of miles from home, the band’s van broke down, leaving them without any transportation or money. Seeing an obvious opportunity, Jeremy worked hard and decided to stick it out in Chicago for a while, while everyone else went home crying. It was then that he joined Eighth Avenue and began touring with them. Spending some time in Chicago was much different from New York. As he was getting used to the differences, he met Julianna. She was the only girl who could really break through his tough exterior and “tame the beast.†At first, he didn’t really pay any attention to his feelings but before long he was mush (but only behind closed doors). Jeremy refused to let his toughness disappear when he was around the guys so Julie didn’t like that. She wanted everyone to see what a snuggly manbear he could be. Jeremy would rather keep that a secret. That resulted in fights where she accused him of being two different people yadda, yadda, yadda. So eventually they broke up. It tore him apart. Vowing to never get into a relationship, Jeremy concentrates more on his music now and spends his spare times with hook ups and friends with benefits so he’ll never be in that position again. Gruff and a little angsty from his past, Jeremy never really lets anyone in, so if he does, don’t mess it up. He doesn’t like being taken advantage of, he does that just fine. Hardened, don’t take any of his witty sarcasm seriously. A lot of his anger is misplaced and its just the way he is. Alias: lithi Experience: 7 years How’d you find us? nerrrp Sample: nerrrp. |
